Almost a year ago to the day we had the awesome privilege of hosting GMA Dove Award Winning Artist Mitch McVicker for a house concert. (If you missed it, here’s a link to the boxscore.) We are pleased to announce that Mitch is coming back to perform at our place on Sunday, October 2nd!
Around the time of his first performance in Nashville, IL Mitch had recently recorded a live concert for a DVD project. He asked us before the show if we would allow his friend to record the house concert at our place for some additional movie footage. How could we say “no”? The DVD project is finished and scheduled for release any day now and it includes footage from the last event!
Whether you were with us last time or not, you will certainly not want to miss this opportunity to see Mitch in concert. Last year our house was packed, so this year we will be moving the performance to the newly built stage in our back yard (weather permitting — we will move inside if necessary). The concert will be on the evening of Sunday, October 2nd at 7:00pm. The cost of admission is $10 at the door (kids 12 and under are free)! As always, we will not make any money with this event. All proceeds will go to the artist. Be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket. We will provide the campfire and refreshments!
